Financial Aid

FAFSA

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for federal financial aid. The University of New Haven’s school code is 001397.

Once your FAFSA is received and reviewed, we will notify you of your award amount and provide login instructions for your UNH Financial Aid account. You can then view, accept, or decline your financial aid award. We will also keep in touch to remind you of important deadlines and any aid changes.

Military Students

The University of New Haven was recently ranked in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges for Veterans. The University has also earned the recognition as a Best for Vets College by Military Times.

We are a proud participant in the Yellow Ribbon Program, a tuition benefits program for U.S. military veterans and active duty service members.

Currently, the Online MBA program has been approved for VA benefits.

All other programs are under consideration for VA benefits.
